Join the tight-knit team at Bicycle Junction, working in store and from home on a range of different communications-based projects.
We’re looking for a new staff member to take over our communications front. This role includes creating and delivering a wide range of content, be it social media posts, newsletters, YouTube videos, blog posts and so on. You will be creating a range of photographic, video and written content engaging with our community as well updating them about the latest and greatest products we have in store. This role also includes some website administrative jobs, such as loading and updating products and descriptions, in order to keep our in store and online store in line. The role has previously been permanent part time, working 30 hours over four days, but this is negotiable for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of bikes, as you will need to help out in the shop as well if other staff members are occupied. Strong time management and multitasking skills are a must, and bike shop experience is an added bonus. Having initiative is also important for this role, as being a small business you will need to be largely self-sufficient in your workflow, and able to creatively brainstorm and execute projects with minimal assistance from others.
