Our very own Beer-Bike is up and running and pouring mouth-watering pints at events around Wellington. The project started as part of our involvement with Beervana - a simple concept with delicious benefits. We took one of our Christiania Cargo Trikes, fitted it with a cool box, a hinged wooden bar-top and a tap made of bike hubs, cranks and chain-rings. Everyone knows that nothing goes down better after a long day on your bike than an ice cold beer, so when Beervana asked us to be part of their event this year we jumped at the chance. We decorated the main stage with a bicycle powered installation that lit up the musicians as spectators pedalled our Linus generator bikes.  With 60 breweries serving over 300 different brews, it really was a beer fan's heaven - and it was great to be there with our bikes providing something different and interactive.  Beervana is set in the Westpac stadium concourse, so as the day progresses festivalgoers walk...

Oliver and Angela came to us with their vision of The Brulee Bike - a Christiania cargo-bike fitted with a chill-box and enough surface space to use as a functioning mobile vender. We jumped on the idea and quickly had our plans drawn up. It didn't take long before the bike was built and shipped to Auckland fully assembled and ready for the couple to get straight to business.
