Its important to choose the right tyre for the job. There are three types of tyre to suit our Bromptons Schwalbe Marathon tyres are a great choice for Brompton riders who like to do some touring or intend to ride on Gravel as well as Tarmac. They are smooth rolling and very puncture resistant but have better tread for rougher surfaces. Brompton Kevlar tyres are an all purpose tyre perfect for commuting and best on sealed surfaces. They have a high level of puncture resistance. Brompton Schwalbe Kojak tyres are a city slicker. Fast and smooth on tarmac and are sure to get you there in a hurry. They have a folding bead so are a good spare to carry with you for those longer journeys.

Though we’re a bike shop that sells, builds and fixes bicycles, they’re really just the means to an end; albeit a beautifully designed means to an idyllic end. Our job most importantly is to encourage as many people as we can to get out and ride for transport and enjoyment.
