Bicycle Junction's Terms of Sale and Returns Policy

If you have any questions about our returns policy, please contact us. We are always happy to help you.

(1) Returns of Faulty Goods - Your rights under the law

If the product you have bought from us is faulty, we will provide a remedy as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act. Depending on the fault, you may be entitled to have us repair the product at our expense, or to return the product to us and choose a refund, credit or exchange.

You will need to cover the cost of returning the product to us.

Where the faulty product is a bicycle that you have purchased from our store on-line, and you are not in the Wellington region, we will likely have a service partner in your region that can help you. Please talk to us first.

(2) Returns of Non-Faulty Goods - Change of mind etc

Returns of non-faulty goods include returns where you have changed your mind or made the purchase in error - for example accidentally bought the wrong size or colour, items that don't fit the way that you would like or unwanted gifts.

We will accept returns of non-faulty goods for exchange or credit provided they meet the guidelines below. For returns of non-faulty goods, you can choose between an exchange or a credit. We do not offer refunds for returns of non-faulty goods.

This policy applies also in respect of any deposits or laybys.

Criteria for returns of non-faulty goods:

✔ Return within 7 days

✔ Return with proof of purchase

✔ Item must be unused with all original tags/labels attached

✔ Item is not listed as an excluded item as outlined below

Excluded items:

✘ Gift Vouchers

✘ Sale/Clearance items

✘ Customised items, including any parts we fit to your bike

✘ Items that we have ordered from our suppliers specially to fulfil your order.

✘ Items purchased online and shipped to an overseas address

(2)(a) Returns Process for non-faulty goods - for purchases in-store

Take your item(s) to our store. Give us your unwanted item and proof of purchase. Once the returns policy has been met, we'll offer an exchange or credit on the spot.

In case of exchange, if the new item is a different product and there is a price difference you will need to pay the difference or you receive a partial credit for the balance, as the case may be.

Any credit will be provided in the form of a gift voucher.

(2)(b) Returns Process for non-faulty goods - for purchases online

If your purchase was made online, you will need to ship the item and proof of purchase back to us at your expense. Please contact us before you ship any items to us, so that we can correctly arrange your exchange or credit when your item arrives. If the item returned does not meet this Returns Policy, your order will be sent back to you.

Our shipping address is Bicycle Junction, 1 Marion Street, Te Aro 6011, Wellington.

Once we receive your item, we will process your credit or exchange and notify you. In case of an exchange, we will invoice you for any shipping costs for the replacement item. Our free shipping offer does not extend to replacement of non-faulty items.

Any goods that are shipped to an overseas address cannot be returned.
