HUTT ROAD POPUP BIKE WORKSHOP

7 - 9 AM THURSDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER

Rusty chain? Broken spokes? Clunky gears? No problem.

We'll have our portable bike workshop set up on on the Hutt Road on Thursday 10th September from 7am-9am.

Find us underneath the over bridge by the ferry terminal. Stop by for free bike tweaks, adjustments and expert knowledge. Our friendly staff are happy to fix those piercing squeaks, diagnose those mystery creaks and send you away smiling. We'll also have free filter Peoples Coffee & free donuts so you can have a morning cuppa whilst you wait. This is supported by Wellington City Council and Greater Wellington Regional Council.

PICNICS IN PARKS

9 AM - 3 PM SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER

The sun is shining which means we are going to roll out the garden again. What is usually a dead space for a couple of empty cars transforms into a busy hub of music, art and people. Relax in the sun with a coffee, meet with friends and listen to some sweet music on the piano outside. If you're in the neighbourhood on a sunny day then keep an eye out because we can't wait to set it all up again! If you like the sound of all this then you should go and check out the Picnics in Parks facebook page.

UPCYCLED ATTYRE: BELT MAKING WORKSHOP

6 - 8 PM THURSDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER

For the love of bikes, join us for an evening of upcycling and repurposing old bike tyres. First up, we'll be making 'new' 'fashionable' and fully functional belts from worn out old tyres. This is a great way to save tyres from landfill, while making something that looks good! Tyres last for years as a belt, are super durable and make great gifts too! The cafe will be open for drinks and will have a tasty hot soup available too. Only 10 spaces available so sign up quick. Get in touch to book.

A GOOD SORT OF MAD BREAKFAST

8-9 AM TUESDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER

Co-hosted with Vic Uni as part of the Australiasian University Health Challenge, John Randal will be in-house to talk about his latest project cycling every street in his town for a good weekends fun. Come and meet some of the Vic Uni wellbeing group and socialise over a coffee... we'll bake extra scones!
