Sinch was founded by a couple of kiwi cycling industry professionals who know better than most exactly what riders around New Zealand demand from their ebikes. Each of Sinch's bikes run on Shimano's award-winning Steps motor system delivering plenty of reliable power with a range up to 150km per charge; plus, they're designed to ride comfortably at 32km/h right out of the box. Sinch's quality and comfortable frame designs come complete with a suite of everyday riding accessories like fenders, rack, and integrated lights meaning your Sinch bike is ready to ride right off the floor.
Here at Bicycle Junction, we're huge fans of the very price competitive Sinch Jaunt 1 and the classed-up Jaunt 2 on the floor. Coming in at $3,599 the Sinch Jaunt 1 sets a new bar for value in a mid-drive electric bike, while the Jaunt 2 provides a great upgrade with the addition of the Shimano 6100 motor system. Both are great comfort-oriented city ebikes with convenient mid-step frame designs and a build kit set to take on the hilly streets of New Zealand every day.
