The Pinecone
The Pinecone is the brand-new, all-steel, all-terrain bike from Brother Cycles. Drawing inspiration from the retro mountain bikes of the ’80s and ’90s, and blending them with modern features, it’s the ultimate do-it-all machine.
Sure, it makes a killer pub bike – but trust it on longer adventures and you’ll find a capable, all-terrain ride that’ll keep you smiling all day long.
Geometry & Ride Feel

Chainstays: 440mm – short and nimble for trail fun, yet stable for longer rides

Head angle: 70° – slack enough for varied terrain, steady enough for distance

Tubing: skinny, heat-treated chromo steel – “Extra Tough,” with the right flex for a forgiving feel on rough ground
Retro Vibes, Modern Versatility

Quick release dropouts, 1 1/8” headtube, and relatively level top tube for classic MTB character

Designed for 650b wheels with clearance up to 2.6" tyres (depending on brake setup)

Rim + Disc brake mounts – run v-brakes if you love them, or discs for strength and reliability

Compatible with multiple wheel sizes – 650b, 700c, even 26"

Standard Boxed Bike Shipping
We ship all bikes nationwide across New Zealand. Non electric bikes are packed securely in a box and sent from Bicycle Junction in Wellington.

South Island: $120
