Brother Cycles Mr Wooden Frameset – Classic Feel, Modern Soul
The Mr Wooden frameset is Brother Cycles’ ode to all-purpose adventure—equal parts modern randonneur, gravel rambler, and tourer. Whether you’re riding quiet roads, straying off-tarmac, or heading out for a week-long escape, Mr Wooden is designed to be built your way.
Running 650b wheels with rim brakes, it delivers a lightweight, flexible ride ideal for long days in the saddle. With space for 650b x 50mm tyres, rack and fender mounts, three bottle cages, and that classic lugged fork, this is a frameset made for timeless builds and endless roads.
Why rim brakes? They keep things simple, light, and compatible with your favourite old-school parts—because not everything should be throwaway. Mr Wooden is just as happy with vintage down tube shifters as it is with modern gearing. It’s a thoughtful mix of then and now.
Fun fact: It’s named after a beloved outdoorsy teacher from Brother’s childhood—socks and sandals, compass round the neck, knew every tree in the forest. Mr Wooden would’ve ridden this. We think you’ll love it too.
