The ABUS Infinity Loop 1806 is a flexible chain lock for riders who need more locking options than a standard D-lock or short chain. Its double-loop design lets you secure the bike frame and a wheel at the same time, connect two bikes together, or lock up a bike and trailer with one lock.
It is a useful choice for school runs, family riding, car racks, cargo bikes, trailers and awkward bike parking where a normal lock does not quite reach. With an ABUS level 6 security rating, it is best for medium-risk parking, extra component security, or situations where flexibility matters more than maximum theft resistance.

Good to know: Flexible and useful, but not a high-security main lock for expensive bikes
The Infinity Loop 1806 solves a real locking problem. A lot of locks are strong enough for the job, but not long or flexible enough for the bike rack, trailer, front wheel, child’s bike or awkward post in front of you.
The two adjustable loops let you make better use of the full lock length. One loop can go around the bike frame, while the other can secure a front wheel, rear wheel, second bike or trailer. The sliding lock body also makes it easier to tighten the setup instead of leaving loose chain hanging around.
The IvyTex synthetic fibre coating helps protect the bike’s paint, and the lock can be wrapped around a seatpost or similar for transport. That makes it more practical than many longer chains, especially when you do not want to carry a separate bag just for your lock.
This is a flexible lock, not the strongest lock in the ABUS range. For expensive e-bikes, cargo bikes or long periods parked around town, choose a higher-rated main lock or use the Infinity Loop alongside a stronger D-lock, folding lock or chain.
For best results, lock the frame to something fixed, keep the bike in a visible and well-lit spot, and avoid leaving valuable bikes outside overnight. If you are using it on a car rack, check the rack and bike layout carefully so the lock is securing the bikes in a way that actually prevents easy removal.
The ABUS Infinity Loop 1806 is a smart lock for riders who need reach, flexibility and a cleaner way to secure more than one part of the bike. Choose it for family riding, trailers, car racks and awkward parking. Choose a higher-rated lock if the bike is valuable or being left unattended for longer periods.
A good test ride is the most important factor when it comes to finding the right bike.
