Aeroe Spider Rear Cradle

The Aeroe Spider Rear Cradle is an add-on cradle for the Aeroe Spider Rack system. It gives you another secure mounting point for a dry bag, tent, sleeping bag, or soft bikepacking load.

This is the cradle only, not the rack. It mounts to a compatible Aeroe Spider Rear Rack, Spider Front Rack or Spider Fat Rack, letting you expand your carrying setup without changing the whole rack system.

The Spider Cradle is what makes the Aeroe rack system so adaptable. You can start with one cradle for a simple rear dry bag setup, then add more carrying points as your trips get longer or your packing needs change.

It is designed to carry cylindrical or soft gear securely, such as a dry bag, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, or similar bikepacking load. The built-in straps keep the load stable without needing a mess of extra cords or loose webbing.

The position adjustment is genuinely useful. You can mount the cradle vertically or horizontally, and rotate it to suit heel clearance, smaller frames, low saddle height, dropper post use or your preferred handling feel.

Setup options

Top mount: Good for a single dry bag or tent carried on the top of the rack.

Multiple cradles: Compatible Spider Racks can run up to three attachments in total, depending on the rack, accessory setup and load limits.

Bag choice: It works especially well with Aeroe dry bags, but can also carry other suitable dry bags, tents, sleeping bags or similar gear.

Good to know

This is the cradle only. The Aeroe Spider Rack and dry bag are sold separately.

The cradle is rated to carry up to 5 kg. The total rack load also depends on the Spider Rack you are using and the number of attachments fitted. Keep the load secure, balanced and within the rack’s stated limits.

Before riding rough roads, gravel or trails, check that the cradle is mounted firmly and the straps are tight around the load. Recheck the setup after the first few kilometres, especially with a new packing arrangement.
