Meet the Surly Grappler, a drop-bar trail bike built for riders who don’t want to choose between the fast and the fun. Designed for mixed terrain, trail detours, and overgrown fire roads, this bike hits the sweet spot between adventure touring rig and modern trail geometry—with drop bars up front and confidence out back.
With clearance for 27.5 x 2.8" or 29 x 2.1" tyres, Gnot-Boost spacing, and dropper post routing, it’s a true modern steel trail bike—just reimagined for riders who like a bit of hood-and-hoodlum energy. Plus, a full suite of mounts makes it as comfortable loading up for the weekend as it is slashing singletrack after work.
