The Surly Grappler is a drop-bar trail frameset built for riders who want the stability of a mountain bike with the range and efficiency of a gravel setup. Designed around wide 27.5” tyres and a short rear end, it strikes that sweet spot between control, comfort, and all-terrain capability. Whether you’re piecing together your dream bikepacking rig or a playful singletrack explorer, the Grappler’s ready to take it on.
Made from Surly’s signature 4130 chromoly steel, it’s built tough yet compliant for long days in the saddle. The frame and fork feature full mounting options for bottles, racks, and bags, making it equally at home on backcountry epics or daily rides through the hills.
