The Forekaster is Maxxis’ all-conditions XC–trail tyre: quick on hardpack, confident when it turns loose or damp. Open, staggered knobs shed muck and bite on climbs and off-camber corners, while the continuous centre ridge keeps you rolling fast between features. A great front or rear option for Wellington’s mixed surfaces.

Fit notes
Runs beautifully on modern rims with 25–30 mm internal width (broader 23–35 mm works). For balanced grip and speed: Forekaster front with something faster (e.g., Rekon) on the rear, or Forekaster front & rear for extra bite in the wet. Set up tubeless with quality sealant and re-check pressures after the first few rides.
