The Riese & Müller Homage is a premium low step-through, full-suspension e-bike built for riders who want maximum comfort, stability, and confidence day after day. It’s effortless to get on and off, beautifully planted at speed, and incredibly smooth on rough streets, chipseal, and longer rides out of town.
What makes the Homage feel so calm is Riese & Müller Control Technology — front suspension, a rear swing arm, and a co-sprung luggage carrier that keeps the whole bike composed even when you’re loaded up. Power comes from the Bosch smart system on Homage4, while Homage5 adds a choice of Bosch or the low-maintenance Pinion MGU for riders who want a more sealed, future-forward drivetrain.
The design is unmistakable: the flowing frame line, fully integrated battery, and a carrier that feels like it’s part of the bike rather than an add-on. Add the dropper seatpost and you’ve got a bike that’s confident and comfortable in motion, and easy to manage when you’re stopping, starting, and hopping on and off around the city.
Comfort-first, built to carry
The Homage is made for everyday transport and longer touring. The integrated rear carrier is stable and versatile for panniers, baskets, and commuting gear, and the co-sprung design helps keep cargo steady over bumps. If range is a priority, Homage4 can be configured with DualBattery up to 1,250 Wh for big-distance riding with fewer charging stops.
Safety is front and centre too. High-visibility lighting and premium braking options keep things controlled in all conditions, while optional Bosch eBike ABS adds extra confidence when braking hard, especially in wet weather or on loose surfaces.

Step 1: Build your ideal Homage using the Riese & Müller configurator (choose Homage4 or Homage5, your drive system, build, and accessories).
Step 2: Copy the configuration code once you’ve finished.
Step 3: Send the code to us — whether you’re just enquiring or ready to place an order.
Pricing and shipping
All prices shown on the configurator are in NZD and include sea freight shipping. Typical lead time is 3–6 months.
Make sure the location is set to New Zealand. Air freight is available for faster delivery on most models but isn’t included in the configurator price - ask us about express shipping when you get in touch.
