The Load range
The Load models combine confident riding dynamics with genuinely versatile cargo capability. With a low centre of gravity and Riese & Müller Control Technology, they stay stable, planted, and easy to handle even when fully loaded. This is the kind of cargo bike that still feels enjoyable to ride, whether you’re cruising city streets, rolling gravel paths, or taking the long way home.
Both Load models share the same core ride feel and design approach. The main difference is simple: size. Choose the loading length that best fits what you need to carry most often.
Main difference: size
Load5 60: More compact and agile. Ideal if you want front-loading cargo capability with an easier footprint for tight urban spaces. Loading surface is 60 cm long and it can carry up to two children (depending on kit and configuration).
Load5 75: More space and maximum capacity. Best for bigger family loads, bulkier cargo, or riders who want the most room up front. Loading surface is 75 cm long and it can carry up to three children (depending on kit and configuration).
The Load5 60
The Load5 60 is the nimble choice. It delivers the same full-suspension control and premium ride feel as the larger model, but in a more compact package that feels right at home in bike lanes, tight streets, and busy city riding.
It’s ideal for everyday transport, commuting, and family hauling where you want front cargo convenience without going as long as the 75. With the right kit, it’s a confident car-replacement for school runs, shopping, and daily life.
The Load5 75
The Load5 75 is built for bigger jobs. You get a longer loading surface and more room for passengers or bulky cargo, while still keeping that surprisingly sporty and controlled feel that makes the Load range stand out.
If you’re regularly carrying multiple kids, a dog, or heavier loads, the 75 gives you the extra space to make it easy. With full suspension and a low centre of gravity, it stays stable and predictable even when the front is packed out.

Step 1: Build your ideal Load using the Riese & Müller configurator (choose Load5 60 or Load5 75).
Step 2: Copy the configuration code once you’ve finished.
Step 3: Send the code to us — whether you’re just enquiring or ready to place an order.
Pricing and shipping
All prices shown on the configurator are in NZD and include sea freight shipping. Typical lead time is 3–6 months.
Make sure the location is set to New Zealand. Air freight is available for faster delivery on most models but isn’t included in the configurator price. Ask us about express shipping when you get in touch.

Shipping cost will be clearly specified at checkout before payment is completed.
