Basil Buddy Space Frame

The Basil Buddy Space Frame is a steel wire dome for Basil Buddy dog baskets. It fits over the top of the basket to help keep small dogs contained while you ride.

Dog size and weight ratings

The Basil Buddy baskets are made for small dogs, but the weight rating depends on the basket and mounting system.

Front KF Buddy baskets: Suitable for small dogs up to 5 kg.

Rear MIK Buddy basket: Suitable for small dogs up to 15 kg, provided your rear carrier is rated to carry the combined weight of the dog and basket.

The Space Frame does not increase the basket’s weight limit. It helps contain the dog, but the basket, mounting system and bike still need to be suitable for the dog’s size and weight.
